If you ever have your modem/router reset or have a replacement installed, you will need to do PORT FORWARDING within the modem/router to enable remote access from your cell phone, tablet, or computer.

READ THIS FIRST!!!

Please have a copy of your receipt available, as you will need the IP ADDRESS OF THE DVR and the PORTS (typically 8080, 8000, and 8554) that will need to be opened. You will also need the system USER NAME and PASSWORD for the modem/router. This is usually located on the side or bottom of the modem/router.
